When sending a payment, include the portfolio number in the payment reference (recipient note). You will find the portfolio number in the client zone in the relevant portfolio detail.
If you don't include the portfolio number in the payment reference, the money will be allocated to your main (first) portfolio by default.

You can initiate a cash transfer between portfolios in the client zone. The transfer takes place on the next trading day.
You can transfer ETFs between your portfolios without selling them. This is done directly in the client zone and avoids the need to sell and rebuy, which could trigger a taxable event.
Dividends are credited to the cash reserve of the portfolio in which the ETF paying the dividend is held.
Transferring ETFs between portfolios is not a sale and therefore does not trigger a taxable event. Cash transfers may involve a sale of ETFs (if there is insufficient cash), which could have tax implications.
